Provides air cargo shipper personnel involved in handling, storing, and loading cargo, mail, or supplies with the necessary knowledge regarding the labels and handling of Dangerous Goods.
At the end of the DGR training, participants will have the necessary knowledge to:

Identify and classify dangerous goods

Recognize and identify dangerous goods labels and package specification marks

Understand the provisions for Dangerous Goods in passenger and crew baggage

Become familiar with dangerous goods emergency response procedures

Understand the rules for loading, storage, and inspection

Complete the (NOTOC) Notification to Captain for dangerous goods

This training has been developed following a competency-based training and assessment approach, in accordance with Chapter 7 of the IATA DGR manual.
