DGR14 – Cargo Personnel 7.4

Personnel responsible for processing or accepting goods presented as general cargo.

At the end of the DGR training, participants will have the knowledge required to:

• Identify and classify dangerous goods.
• Recognize and identify dangerous goods labels and package specification markings.
• Understand the provisions relating to Dangerous Goods carried in passenger and crew baggage.
• Become familiar with dangerous goods emergency response procedures.
• Understand the rules for loading, storage, and inspection of dangerous goods.
• Complete the NOTOC (Notification to Captain) for dangerous goods.

This training has been developed using a competency-based training and assessment approach, in accordance with Chapter 7 of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations Manual.

120 minutes

At the end of the course, a multiple-choice evaluation or test is conducted.

The student must achieve a minimum score of 80% to pass.

The student has two opportunities to successfully complete the assessment.
